Each leg is connected first with two dowels which act only to assure alignment of the two stainless steel bolts that make the actual connection. In effect, their are four points of contact for each leg, providing mechanical strength and stability like no other chair! You can also see the rear seat slat is cut with a curve to fit the curve of our backrest.
